The Gujarat Secondary & Higher Secondary Education Board (GSHSEB) was constituted in 1972, following the enactment of the Gujarat Secondary Education Act 1972.
Its Chairman and Deputy Chairman are appointed by the State Government.
It is often called as GSEB in short. In the early month of year 2014, GSEB or Gujarat Board will conduct their class 10th or SSC exam and it is expected that there will be huge numbers of students undergo this examination.
GSEB provides the State Government guidance about the Policies governing Secondary and higher secondary Education, its development and qualitative enhancement.
The Gujarat Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Board examination 2014 results for Class 12 (HSC) General stream are likely to be released on May 12, 2014.
